“ The decor and atmosphere feels familiar, like it could be from your own home town. We were lucky enough to see Joy's being decorated for autumn, which added to its allure. We were warmly greeted and received our food quickly. We had an excellent piece of strawberry chocolate ganache cake. I had the french dip and my wife had the chicken pesto. We sampled both and agreed they were equally excellent! Watching the clientele, it appeared to be a popular spot amongst locals and many appeared to receive warm welcomes! We absolutely recommend stopping by (and getting two slices of cake)! ”

“ Seriously, you need to give this place a visit. The meatloaf panini was sheer divinity. Heaven on a plate. Easily the best food I have eaten in Washington state so far on my visit. They make everything from scratch and it shows. I had the meatloaf panini and my husband had the ham and fig panini, both amazingly good. We luxuriated in the raspberry tart and turtle brownie for dessert. Honestly, it's worth making a 30 minute detour for lunch. ”

My dad got a meatloaf sandwich, something he loves... said it was so so, I tried a bite and I thought it was good, maybe just more herbs than he is use to. Maybe at 95, you get set in your taste buds. I dunno. Great tea choices too. Nice little shop in back. Raw honey and some Made in China kitchen fair. I didn't look at everything though. My biggest complaint is the credit card surcharge. If we knew we would have paid cash. I understand credit card companies charge to use this service which is another topic in itself and it costs business in one sense, in another it also helps business. I also know a few places have this up charge and all I would suggest is prior knowledge. If I missed it; my bad, but it also means it wasn't obvious. Otherwise a cool spot with a nice vibe for a bite to eat. ”

“ AMAZING food!! You know when a meal is *really* special... like it's made with love? This place has double helpings of love in the food - and it's the same every time I'm here. The desserts are phenomenal. My wife loves the chocolate raspberry tart, and the carrot cake here is the best I've ever had. Joy, the owner and head chef often checks to make sure you are enjoying your lunch - when she's not in the back grilling smoked chicken on the Trager for her curry chicken salad (also amazing as a salad or wrap)! You will thoroughly enjoy anything you order here - it's that good! ”
